Sellier & Bellot Firearm Ammunition is a premium, hard-hitting cartridge that combines old-school power with modern manufacturing precision. Featuring a 405 Grain Soft Point bullet, it delivers a massive 2,048 ft-lbs of muzzle energy, ensuring an ethical harvest on the largest North American game. The soft point tip initiates uniform expansion upon impact, while the heavy Firearm Ammunition core ensures deep, reliable penetration. Manufactured with high-grade reloadable brass and non-corrosive primers, this 20-round box is a reliable companion for lever-action enthusiasts and hunters who demand the uncompromising performance of a true big-bore classic. Defensive Note Defensive Application: In a Home Defense or Wilderness Defense scenario, the .45-70 provides absolute stopping power. It is frequently carried as a bear load for protection in the backcountry. However, for indoor residential use, be aware of extreme over-penetration; this 405-grain slug will pass through most residential structures with ease.
